So many of our amazing friends posted pics of our new tiered boxes, and we thought we would share them all here.
Just like all of our products, these boxes wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for all of your input, feedback and suggestions. Thanks to Chasity’s Cakery, Keyla’s Kouture Cakes, Cake Monkey, and Anne A. for the great photos.

We are so lucky to be in this niche/industry. It is filled with people who are following their dreams, and doing what they love most. We would be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn’t enjoy and have passion for their work. That makes us love what we do even more. And because of that, we have had the pleasure of making not just customers, but many friends in this business. For that we thank you :)
My son LOVES spiderman, he’s going to be 8 next week. So, since he liked the picture of these so much, (they are pretty great:) ), I thought I’d post Maria R.’s creation here for the 8 year old in all of us to enjoy.
Simply Divine Cakes is a just a stone’s throw away from us in Bennettsville, SC. Ellie does everything from cute cupcakes to unique wedding cakes. We adore the unique toppers she uses to set her cakes apart.
Because it’s so close to Christmas, but I seem to be full of warm fuzzy memories today. I grew up with Sesame Street (and Mr. Rogers, and Reading Rainbow). I think we all had a favorite character, mine was Snuffleupagus, who according to Wikipedia, has the first name Aloysius. Who was your favorite?
*Thanks to Jennifer at Exquisite Confections for the adorable photo!
For those of you that are children of the 80’s, this little guy should spark quite a few memories. I played this game for hours on end because once you shut it off, you had to start all over again at the beginning. (Oh, the good old days, when we walked to school in 3 feet of snow up hill both ways). I never could beat that last level:).
Thanks to Danielle in Orlando, FL!

My family and I were driving down the highway a few days ago when we noticed a man attempting to push his SUV up an exit ramp. He had run out of gas. My husband, always the good samaritan, pulled over and jumped out to help. Imagine our surprise when we realized we had stopped to help ELVIS!!! OK, so maybe not the real Elvis, but he was an Elvis impersonator, and he was late for a show.
I wish I had a better picture, because this guy was the real deal. No wigs for him, and the sideburns? REAL. This is a pic of my husband, Elvis, and a couple of other random strangers pushing Elvis’s SUV.
New Hampshire may be one of our smaller states, but there is a lot of talent packed into it. Pink Star Cupcakery in Milford makes cupcakes for any occasion, and each and every delicious one is made from scratch. Check out their facebook page for some adorable halloween themed cupcakes. Yum!
Although we think our boxes are pretty great on their own, our creative customers have ways of making them simply beautiful. Rachel’s Cupcakes in Leonardtown, MD added the perfect finishing touch!
Sarah B. is one of our “loyal locals” here in NC. She made these cute cupcakes and was nice enough to post the pic for us to see. Thanks Sarah!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Here are a couple of projects/charities that you may not have heard of:
Yes, there are a lot of charities out there related to cancer research who are helping to find a cure for cancer in the future, but cleaningforareason.org helps women who have cancer now. They provide house cleaning services for women undergoing cancer treatment, free of charge. Chemo and radiation drain a person of every last drop of energy they have, making it next to impossible to get out of bed, let alone do housework.
Bake For Hope is a week long, nationwide, volunteer driven bake sale event. Proceeds are donated to each community’s local Susan G. Komen foundation. Volunteers do everything from baking, selling and handling the event location and details. The event is held each year the week before Mother’s Day to honor mothers and women everywhere.
Like most people, the BakeABox family has been personally affected by this horrendous disease. Do yourself, your family, and your friends a favor, get checked today!
Cupcakes By Melissa in Jackson, GA has posted some great pics of themed cupcakes. We’re still trying to figure out how the popcorn ones look so real! Thanks, Melissa!
Thanks Melissa for these awesome photos!
(If you’ve posted a pic to our facebook page using your “personal” facebook account, but have a bakery website or fan page, please let us know. For now, we’ll just link them back to the original post.)
